Boosting a stellar cast of Donnie Yen, Zhao Wei, Zhou Xun and Singapore's very own Qi Yu Wu, this is a film set in ancient times, and the story lays out the fantasies we all probably had - demon busters trying to catch demons with their powerful unique weapons, highly skilled martial arts experts who look like ordinary folk, and the dead coming back to life.

Love, however, is a big element in this movie. You get to see the unwavering love and devotion a husband and wife have towards each other, whether or not the husband feels something towards another woman (or demon), and no matter what the wife becomes, the husband still loves her. There are also elements of rejection, yet the rejected party still shows their deep love by sacrificing themselves.

This film may be packed with action, but it also packages many other elements that make this film a must-watch.
